OM Roastery, a café for meditation

Nov 28, 2019

What do you get when you mix your passion for coffee, tea, and chocolate in a small coffeeshop in the province of Rieti, in Italy? It’s OM Roastery, a brand-new coffee shop which recently opened in Poggio Mirteto, a small village in Italy’s countryside.

Its name, OM, is inspired by a concept of coffee as a moment to stop and relax while enjoying one of the many products they offer in their café, such as chocolate, tea, dried fruit, hot chocolate... Ermanno Perotti describes it as almost a café for meditation.

When asked why they’ve chosen a Dalla Corte professional coffee machine, Ermanno tells us he was lucky to have tried many different espresso machines, in Italy and around the world, and he has always appreciated Dalla Corte’s technology, extraction and water flow, which he feels is one of the variables that mostly affect coffee.

The range of products they offer, from coffee to their selection of tea, come from plantations with which they’ve been cooperating for years now. A supply chain that wants to be completely transparent, sustainable and careful towards the company’s social responsibility.

Making a good espresso requires dedication, attention to detail, and consistency, at OM they have it all, so come on in and try one of the many single-origin coffees, or also the “house blend”, rounder and with a classic taste.
