Jack Simpson is the WEC champion!

Jack Simpson is officially the WORLD ESPRESSO CHAMPION! 

The second edition of the World Espresso Championship brought together the greatest baristas from around the globe – world champions of the Brewers and Barista titles - and Jack Simpson proved he was the best of the best by taking home the top prize.

Using the one and only Dalla Corte Zero with the "Freestyle extraction" feature, the competitors have showcased incredible aromas and organoleptic properties in each cup!

It was an unforgettable experience to see some of the world's best baristas competing so fiercely! The passion, talent, and dedication on display truly blew everyone away. The after-party was also EPIC, making yesterday a day to remember for more than one reason!

The event took place at the trendy 360 Cocktail Bar - a venue known for its industrial-style interior and a rooftop garden serving delicious signature cocktails and of course, INCREDIBLE coffee! We’d like to thank our fellow sponsors that’ve supported us: that our media sponsor Perfect Daily Grind, alongside Puqpress, BWT and local DC distributors Eurogat. What's more, we used Wisecup for our coffee beans and Mahlkonig coffee grinders – a combination that ensured a perfect workflow for our competitors.
